Music Choice Europe Music Choice Europe is a digital music service delivering music programs to cable and satellite customers throughout Europe and the UK. Teo years ago, after a good deal of bullying and cajoling, Al Heller managed to convince Music Choice Europe to let him start playing Loungecore/Kitsch and to run rampant in their huge archive library. So every evening from 5:30 pm (UK time) / 6:30 pm (European time) until about 1am (UK), their Easy Listening channel becomes Al's Cheesy Listening channel. As well as playing a mix of all the readily available Easy Listening material - Exotica / French Fromage / Karminsky (did you know that he works at the BBC record library ?) etc, Al's also managed to dig out a large number of very rare tracks from the library - including lots of film music LP's (like 'Barbarella' / 'The Italian Job' / Sid Ramin's 'Stiletto' / etc etc). On top of that, there's plenty of contemporary material from Combustible Edison / Pizzicato Five / Mike Flowers / Corduroy and so on. if you want the official blurb, check out the Music Choice Europe site. |
