Phil More runs "Jazz and More" on "The Jazz Lover" - WUMR 91.7 FM in Memphis, TN, a broadcast service of the Univ. of Memphis. He's been on the air there for 15 years ! His show airs every Sunday from 9:00 pm to Midnight and features vocals / popular music from the 50's and 60's w/ a big band/lounge twist. Always plenty of Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack on this 3 hour commercial-free program ! Opening theme is "The Second Time Around" by Count Basie. Closing theme is "My Way" by Mr. Sinatra. Playlist includes : Tony Bennet, Mel Torme, Frank, Dean and Sammy, Ella, Peggy Lee, some newer stuff from Harry Connick Jr. and Dianne Schuur, Louis Prima, Nancy Wilson, Dinah Washington, Count Basie, Chris Connor, Stan Kenton, The Gilbertos, Duke Ellington, Sarah Vaughn, Ray Charles and lots of tunes from or similar to the Rhino Cocktail Mix Volumes.
