Capitol Swinging Two New Sinatras
Frank Sinatra "Sings The Select Sammy Cahn" (Capitol 38094)
Frank Sinatra "The Complete Capitol Singles Collection, 1953-1961" (Capitol 38089)

Capitol contiues its packing of the swinging Sinatra with these two swank collections on August 20th. "Sings The Songs Of Sammy Cahn" continues the series that includes the songs of Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer and Rodgers & Hart. Only Sammy Cahn could have written songs that so perfectly took advantage of the Sinatra style. Only Sinatra could have interpreted these songs with such perfection. Presented here are two masters at the height of their talent.
Once your appetite has been whetted by the Sammy Cahn collection, dive headlong into the four CD set "The Complete Capitol Singles Collection, 1953-1961". 91 tracks collect every A and B side single Sinatra ever recorded for Capitol. Many of these tracks appear here on CD for the very first time. Others have not been reissued since their original release some 40 years ago. Included are manyrare duets with the likes of The Nuggets, June Hutton and more, extensive liner notes, and track-by-track annotation.
